Quotes for Parents and Teachers

My Thoughts

I want my kids to become the best originals they can be, not modeled after what I think they should be, or what others think they should be, but what they have been created to be.

My kids teach me new things every day and they make me want to become a better person. I feel they’re the best teachers I have and I benefit from their “parent psychology”.

The key to raising our kids right is: positiveness. They need to see positive, happy parents, who prove that life is worth living for.

It’s amazing how much empathy and understanding kids possess. Many times, when I’m thinking about something complicated in my life or I’m troubled about something, my oldest son will give me a hug or kiss and tell me everything will be ok. I see that I need to have more faith, that faith that only children have, so pure and strong.

Quotes I’ve collected from the four corners of the Internet (and other sources):

I am the Child. All the world waits for my coming. All the earth watches with interest to see what I shall become. Civilization hangs in the balance, For what I am, the world of tomorrow will be. I am the Child. You hold in your hand my destiny. You determine, largely, whether I shall succeed or fail. Give me, I pray you, those things that make for happiness. Train me, I beg you, that I may be a blessing to the World. —Mamie Gene Cole

He is just seven years old. He is made up of the following ingredients:
Noise, energy, imagination, curiosity & hunger.

He is the “cute little fellow down the street,” “That spoiled important next door,” or “My son,” depending upon who you are.

He is something to be kept, fed, clothed, healthy, happy & out of trouble BUT… He is something else, too.

He is tomorrow. He is the future we are working for: he is part of the World’s most important generation.

Our generation must love them & win his generation. His generation will determine whether it was worth doing.

He is one of the most important people in history.

SO… Anyone who influences his life is also a mighty important person.
